Grand Teton, Wyoming

    Let's go out west, she said... It will be so much fun! Boy, was she right!! When my oldest daughter Nikki decided that the family needed to go out west and explore, I was apprehensive. So much planning is involved. Who's going to watch the dogs? What kind of flights? Where are we all going to stay?? Needless to say, after finally giving in, as usual it all worked out AND it was simply perfect. Yellowstone and the Grand Teton has got to be some
most beautiful places I have ever seen so far. 

We stayed at an adorable little Airbnb in the Wilson, WY area. It was basically right around the corner from Jackson Hole which made it    super easy to grab dinner in town, or do some shopping.  The views from this cute little town are amazing and are a short little ride to get to the entrance of Grand Teton National Park.

It's obvious that most of our days were spent hiking the trails. After getting over the fact that bear spray is a common thing to carry, my mind was set at ease due to the shear beautiful sites that surround you with every corner. It does make you forget, for a moment or two, that your run in with a bear, bison, or many other animals is a great possibility. 

 

I could just sit here forever and take it all in. What a gorgeous place to visit.
